At Oakland Cemetery I learned that people from a long time ago lived there. A lot of the famous people lived there. One guy opened a golf course. The Neal family had a department store with an elevator and a glass plate window. There was a Confederate Section that has some of the soldiers that died in the war.
The lion in the confederate section was for the war. It was a wounded lion. It was very sad because a lot of people died. There was a place called Potters Field. The people that were buried there were poor people who couldn’t afford to buy a stone.
